Position

Temporary 0.50 FTE Grades 2-5 Blended Learning HLC Teacher – Outdoor Learning (Invermere, BC). Must provide face‑to‑face instruction and the position is subject to enrollment.

Responsibilities

The HLC teachers support students in multi‑grade classes with diverse needs and abilities. Each HLC has a unique face‑to‑face schedule, with students attending up to 2.5 days per week. During home‑learning days, educators support families across multiple platforms, plan lessons, collaborate with grade‑group colleagues, and participate in the greater HLC community.

Qualifications

• Training, certification and/or direct experience teaching in an online learning (OL) or blended program in British Columbia
• Experience in place‑based/experiential learning
• Wilderness First Aid is an asset; must possess Standard First Aid
