Job Description and Requirements: Mount Sentinel Secondary is looking for an innovative, creative and flexible teacher who can demonstrate a proficient understanding of the renewed BC curriculum, the new K-12 reporting policy, and School District 8, Kootenay Lake’s 2024 – 2029 Strategic Plan . The awarded applicant will be experienced in teaching in a multi-aged setting, fluent in assessment strategies that support learning, universal design for learning, technology integration and will strive to create an engaging, challenging, and supportive learning environment working with the Technology Education strand of the Applied , Design , Skills and Technology Curriculum. The applicant will also have recent experience tea ching in a middle and secondary school setting guiding students through the design process – ideation, prototyping, testing and refinement.
