Job Summary

:The Family Connections Program is designed to provide an integrated service approach to meet the mental, social, physical, and emotional needs of the students and their families.Duties and responsibilities of the position include:Liaise with other resources/agencies and make necessary referralsWork directly with families in developing and implementing a family action planDevelopment and implementation of group programsWork closely with schools and related agencies as part of networking efforts for service deliveryCollaborate and work as part of a team with the Family School Liaison CounsellorCoordinate Family Connection volunteersClassroom presentations around preventative mental healthSummer programmingThe preferred candidate’s qualifications include:A university degree or two-year diploma in a related field and experience working with groups and individualsAt least 2 years working experience in addiction and mental health or health/human services rela...
