:This course is designed to respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Call to Action #28. It aims to introduce the history and legacy of residential schools, the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, treaties and Aboriginal rights, Aboriginal law, Indigenous law, and Indigenous-Crown relations. It also aims to foster the development of intercultural competencies through skills-based training, dispute resolution, human rights, and anti-racism.Posting limited to:
