Job Description
The work consists mainly of ensuring compliance with the bicycle safety provisions of road safety laws and regulations and of issuing warnings when basic municipal by-laws are not obeyed.
EXAMPLES OF TASKS PERFORMED
- Bike-patrols the parks, playgrounds, streets and bike paths throughout the summer.
- Issues warnings.
- Assistance with bicycle safety workshops for campers at the day camps.
- Takes part in various community events, friendly sports tournaments and intergenerational social activities.
- Performs any other related tasks.
