Casual Housing Housekeeper (Student)

Position Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Housing Facilities, the primary purpose of this position is to provide housekeeping services within campus housing. This position will assist the housekeeping team in maintaining a high standard of service for all on-campus accommodations.

This includes:

Setting up rooms for hotel/conference accommodations and laundering linens to support conference operations;

Conducting room inspections;

Reporting on conditions impacting the security, safety, and maintenance of residence facilities;

Providing a variety of housekeeping and cleaning duties on a regular basis to ensure the health and safety of students and guests;

Assisting with health and safety inspections;

Moving and lifting furniture and/or equipment;

Operating both manual and power operated equipment such as vacuums, extractors, auto-scrubbers, steamers and buffers.
