Clinical Associates - Family Physician - Orthopedics

Job Summary Fraser Health is looking for Family Physicians (FPs) who would like to have an inpatient component to their practice. The Orthopedic service at the Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) has a mixture of trauma and elective patients who require a FP to manage their new and ongoing medical issues while they are inpatients. Service Overview: The Clinical Associate (CA) will collaborate with the Orthopaedic Surgeons and interdisciplinary professional staff to provide comprehensive medical care for patients on the Orthopaedic Service at RCH from admission to discharge/transfer out. Responsibilities: The CA will: Provide diagnostics, assessments, treatments, and follow-up care. Collaborate in multi-disciplinary care planning including attending scheduled ward rounds and patient care meetings.
