Customs Classification Specialist

**A Snapshot of Your Day**
As a member of the Customs team, you will be responsible to determine accurate customs classifications, on behalf of Siemens Energy legal entities in the United States of America.
Within this responsibility you capture data/documentation and determine the correct customs classification (tariff) according to the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
This position reports to the Head of Customs Operations located in Orlando, Florida as part of a multinational team.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Identifying the required information for customs classification and gathering this information from systems and/or colleagues of the relevant departments such as engineering, R&D and other technical areas.
- Analyzing and classifying goods according to U.S. Customs regulations and U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule and taking into consideration technical attributes required for the classification process.
