Job Description
Under the authority of the Executive Director, the Director of Finance is responsible for the leadership, planning, organization, coordination, and control of the financial activities of the organization and the Foundation. He or she is responsible for the integrated management of the organization’s financial, purchasing and reception services in accordance with laws, regulations, Santé Québec and MSSS directives, internal policies and guidelines, and the requirements applicable to a private CHSLD under contract with Santé Québec as well as a residence for seniors.
*This position is a one (1) year contract with the possibility of permanency.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (A CPA and/or masters degree in finance/accounting, an asset)
- Good knowledge of financial and management systems
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
