You are a trained Doula with Indigenous lived experience, and personal knowledge of women’s experience accessing the health care system. Connection, support, and advocacy are words that bring you joy in your work: the opportunities to connect with women in your community, to support individuals through both happy and challenging situations, and to push for supports your clients require for health and safety.
In the role of Doula, you’ll join other Indigenous Health Team members who are all committed to the same goal: supporting Indigenous women through their unique health care journeys in a culturally safe and welcoming environment.
