Summary:
The equine ambulatory veterinarian provides on‑farm primary, preventative, and emergency medical care to horses within the local community. This role focuses on delivering routine services, such as dental care, reproductive management, performance horse medicine, and minor surgical procedures. The veterinarian also plays a key role in clinical teaching by supervising and instructing final‑year veterinary students, interns, and residents during field service rotations. This position utilizes modern portable diagnostic and therapeutic equipment to support high‑quality patient care. Additionally, this role contributes to both clinical service and teaching within the college.
