Established in 1922, the Fruit & Vegetable Growers of Canada (FVGC) is an Ottawa-based, voluntary, not-for-profit national association that represents the voices of fruit and vegetable growers across Canada. The FVGC advocates for the fresh produce sector, championing significant issues to promote healthy, safe, and sustainable food. Committed to industry growth and success, the FVGC plays a pivotal role in advancing the interests of its members, advocating for issues around labour, crop protection, environment, trade, etc.

Reporting to the President, the Executive Director (ED) will execute a bold and compelling vision that drives the growth of the Canadian fruit and vegetable sector. A clear communicator, the ED will lead a team of 10 staff and steward a budget of approximately $1.5 million dollars, while aligning the diverse membership on key priorities for the association.
