Faculty (On-Call Pool), Auto Service Technician

Position Summary

BCIT’s School of Transportation is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Auto Service Technician to teach in the Automotive Program at our Burnaby campus.

Please note: Appointments will be of varying durations, providing temporary coverage for both pre-scheduled and unplanned absences for full-time, permanent faculty. Duties & Responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching, evaluation, and preparation for both online remote delivery and in-person delivery.

Administrative responsibilities, including assignments, examination marking and student marking.

Curriculum maintenance and program enhancement.

Administrative processes required to ensure appropriate resources are in place to deliver training.

Working collaboratively with other instructors, Department Heads, and Associate Dean.
