About This Opportunity
The community of Canso has an opportunity for one full-time physician. There is opportunity to engage in research and/or teaching positions with Dalhousie University, if that is of interest. The local community hospital, Eastern Memorial Hospital, serves the population in the eastern portion of Guysborough County. The nearest regional hospital, St. Martha's Regional Hospital, is approximately kilometres from Canso. The compensation model for the position is an alternate payment plan (APP). The family practice office is community owned and staffed with administrative support.
