FIRE ANT ERADICATION – FIELD OFFICERS

Protech are currently seeking Field Officers to work from the Caboolture Depot with the Fire Ant Program through Biosecurity Queensland starting in late May 2026
This is an ongoing position and will require thorough and effective surveillance and treatment of insect pests through Southern Queensland.

9 day fortnight 
Uniform, PPE and vehicle during work hours provided 

Key Duties: 
Visual surveillance and bait treatment for insects 
Daily reporting tasks, data collection and record keeping
Driving Company vehicle 

Mandatory Position Requirements:
Open car licence 
MUST have outdoor work experience in Landscaping, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Land Management and Conservation, Civil 
Ability to work in a team environment
