Foreman - Sewer & Water

The foreman provides leadership, schedules, coordinates, supervises and ensures the productivity and safety of the work crew and the public. As a key participant in the relationship with the client, consultants and the company, the foreman acts as a management liaison and a client interface. Location: Ottawa, ON
Vacancy: New PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The foreman must promote a safe work culture, is accountable for the safety of the crew as well as the general public

Knowing, understanding, communicating and ensuring compliance with the safety regulations (Health and Safety Act) and safety policies and procedures outlined in the company policy

Completing incident and other safety reports in a timely manner

Leads the crew and is accountable for how the crew completes assigned work

Communicating and assigning individual tasks to a member or members of his crew

Ability to hold crew members accountable
