Forklift Loader-Second Shift (Soledad-VAP)
Title: Forklift Loader
Salary Range: $23.60 Hourly
Status: Non Exempt
Days/Shifts: 2nd Shift
Location: Soledad, CA
Reports to: Materials Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE
Operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner inside warehouses and receiving yards. Load & unload vans and flatbeds, issue packaging & raw products to production while following FIFO rules and maintaining trace documentation.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Drive and operate forklift, safely.
- Prior experience in loading and unloading of trailers.
- Must pass company written and practical forklift operator test.
- Ability to complete trailer inspections for outbound and inbound deliveries.
- Ability to verify and document incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy.
