The Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) is a federal Crown corporation that contributes to the stability of the Canadian financial system by providing deposit insurance against the loss of eligible deposits at member institutions in the event of failure. CDIC has been protecting Canadians’ deposits for more than 50 years. It was established in 1967 by an act of Parliament following financial disruptions that underscored the importance of depositor confidence and systemic stability.

Reporting to the Vice President, Technology & Data, the Head, Enterprise Technology & Application Data Solutions is a senior leadership role with enterprise-wide accountability for CDIC’s application ecosystem, data platforms, and core IT strategy. This role sits at the centre of a significant transformation agenda and offers the opportunity to shape the future of technology and data at a systemically important public institution.
