Health Care Aide - General Surgery, Urology & Bariatrics

Your Opportunity:

PCU 21 is a 28-bed unit providing care to Urology, General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery patients. Patients are received from the operating room, emergency department, intensive care units, and directly from home and/or medical clinics. We have modified nursing care on all shifts with registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and health care aides working cohesively within the collaborative model of care. Health Care Aides are expected to participate in documentation of their care. Staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital serves a unique inner city population and we want to do it well. The Surgery Inpatient program maintains the expectation that all employees do so with pride, compassion, and respect.
