Your Opportunity:

This position is located in Mackenzie Place, a Type B (DSL4) facility which houses 69 Residents and 2 Community Respite spaces. Under the direction and supervision of a regulated healthcare professional, and working within the Home Care Interdisciplinary team, the Health Care Aide (HCA) provides direct care to assist in the activities of daily living, comfort and safety of the client, and provides indirect services to support the overall provision of care in their assigned area. The HCA embraces the philosophy of person-centered care, demonstrating the principles of the philosophy established within AHS policies and procedures and established standards. The HCA recognizes that each client has unique values and personal history, and that each person has an equal right to dignity, respect, and to participate fully in their environment.
