Job Description
The local physician group is hiring inpatient care physicians to provide full-time, part-time or locum inpatient care at Saanich Peninsula Hospital (SPH). Family medicine inpatient care is a highly valued and rewarding service in our community hospital.
SPH is a 65-bed acute care community hospital with an 18-bed emergency department that cares for 31, patients/year. SPH is the primary referral hospital for the Southern Gulf Islands such that the total population served is approximately 87,. Tertiary care support and consultants are 30 minutes away by road at Victoria General Hospital and Royal Jubilee Hospital. Medical Imaging, Laboratory services as well as CT scanner, operates 07:30 - 24:00 daily plus on call overnight.
