Overview
The Law Society of Alberta regulates the legal profession in the public interest by promoting and enforcing a high standard of professional and ethical conduct by Alberta lawyers.
Our independent adjudicators ensure that disciplinary hearings are fair, timely, transparent and conducted in the public interest. These adjudicators include Benchers (board members), former Benchers, non-Bencher lawyers and members of the public.
The Law Society of Alberta’s Tribunal Office is currently recruiting for six (6) members from the public (non-lawyers) to serve a three-year term as adjudicators, with possibility for renewal for up to two (2) additional terms.
Role of Adjudicators
