Job Description
Position Summary: The Key Account Manager is responsible for directly interfacing with clients to provide updates, schedule deliveries, solve problems, and attend performance meetings on-site at the customer. The Key Account Manager is also responsible for the daily execution of import/export container movements, coordinating terminal appointments, and managing the physical yard, while this role bridges the gap between drivers and yard operations and the customer, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting all expectations, and KPI’s of the customer while minimizing demurrage/detention fees, and maximizing profitability.
