Job Description
To provide field operations/maintenance work for field vehicle fleet and Ground Support Equipment which require preventive maintenance, troubleshooting repairs and/or modifications._x000D_- x000D_Repairs, modifies, and performs preventive maintenance inspections; troubleshoots field vehicle fleet and ground equipment.Diagnoses source of trouble, disassembles equipment, and performs repairs.Makes necessary adjustments in machinery for safe and efficient operation.Completes required paperwork for each assignment including VURR, VAGIS and FAMIS documentation.Maintains a clean, safe work area in accordance with corporate/OSHA standards.Provides assistance, guidance and direction to technicians and technicians trainees as needed.Assumes primary responsibility for completion of project work.Ensures maintenance related materials are maintained at approved inventory levels.Interfaces with customer (FedEx employees) and vendors regarding vehicle and equipment repairs.Interfaces with US suppl...
