Job Description
The House of Commons’ Finance Services is currently looking to staff the Manager, Budgeting and Costing position.
The Manager, Budgeting and Costing is responsible for leading the operational delivery of the House of Commons’ corporate budget planning cycle. This includes preparing budget parameters, consolidating service area submissions, reconciling operating plans with approved funding envelopes, and overseeing quarterly monitoring and reporting of financial performance. The role provides corporate leadership in budgeting, financial planning, and financial analysis, ensuring that processes, tools, and controls comply with governance requirements and support transparency, stewardship, and evidence-based decision-making.
