Job Description
- Review, manage and deliver multiple complex engagements, including accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and sales tax mandates
- Review complex corporate, personal, partnership and trust tax returns
- Resolve semi-complex technical issues and escalate unresolved complex issues to the appropriate person
- Possess the reflexes to look for tax planning opportunities
- Be aware of mandate terms such as budget and deadlines and work within these parameters
- Understand overall objectives of client mandates and client expectations
- Ensure client issues and/or opportunities are communicated to engagement principals and partners
- Ensure team and resources are appropriately managed to support profitability of the business
- Identify client needs on current engagements and propose value-added solutions
