ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMEDUtilize a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and special inspection equipment to inspect first article, in-process and final manufactured parts according to drawing specifications (i.e. CMM, toolmaker's microscope, optical comparators, standard hand tools, etc.).
Utilize advanced inspection equipment such as the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Digital Inspection Devices.Assist with determining acceptance or rejection of products based on requirements.Assist Engineering to test and inspect products at various stages of the production/engineering process utilizing drawings, standards and specifications for appearance, quality and/or operating performance requirements and assist Engineering with compiling the collected data, and generation of reports.Assist with trending analysis and facilitate the identification and correction of failure modes and process/product improvements.Assist with determining whether products or material meet...
