At CERN , the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. During Long Shutdown 3 (LS3, ), the ATLAS detector will be upgraded with new detector systems, requiring detailed engineering work to finalize their design, integration, installation sequence, and connection to services.
