Detailed Overview

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist provides expertise based on current theories, concepts and principles of evidence-based practice and resident centered care. Develops, implements, revises and evaluates treatment plans based on residents needs, outcomes, theory and research; supervises designated staff; ensures clinical objectives are met through participation in development of standards, procedures and protocols. Participates in development of quality improvement and risk management activities as well as research and special projects.
