Palliative Medicine - Burnaby Hospital

Job Summary Our team is looking for a compassionate part-time (0.7 FTE) palliative care physician. This is an exciting opportunity, where you will work alongside other palliative care physicians and our multidisciplinary team to provide Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage at St. Michael’s Hospice and the Palliative Complex Care Unit; and consultation services to acute care and community-based patients. Throughout the Fraser Health Authority we provide integrated, regional, comprehensive palliative care services in a number of settings including 30 Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) beds; consult services in 12 acute care sites as well as in the community and other settings; and support to hospice beds. Additionally, we provide under-graduate and post-graduate teaching in affiliation with the Division of Palliative Care at the University of British Columbia.
