Patient Care Aide (ED) - Temporary Part-time

POSITION: Patient Care Aide DEPARTMENT: Emergency CONDITIONS: Temporary Part-time (0.50 FTE) for approximately nine (9) months 
HOURS: Approximately 37.5 Bi-weekly Hours SHIFTS: Days / Nights / Weekends / Evenings7.5 hours & 11.25 hours per shift (subject to change) WAGE RANGE: Scale Minimum MaximumCUPE22 $23.59/hr $24.88/hr **Plus an additional $2.00 per hour as per Ontario’s Permanent Compensation Enhancement Program for Personal Support Workers and Direct Support Workers** RESPONSIBILITIES:

The purpose of this position is to provide support services to the interdisciplinary team and patients, contributing to the efficiency and the quality of patient care. Under the delegation and guidance of the Nurse, Charge Nurse and/or Care Facilitator, the Patient Care Aide will assist the team as appropriate, responding to patient needs or tasks that require attention.
