Permanent Inpatient Attending Psychiatrist Job Brooklyn, New York A Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join its adult inpatient psychiatry service at one of Brooklyn s largest teaching hospitals. This role focuses on direct inpatient care and academic teaching within a well-resourced, multidisciplinary environment. Role Overview Manage and treat acutely ill adult inpatients on one of two inpatient psychiatry units Work closely with psychiatry residents (resident caseloads up to 8 patients) Supervise residents and medical students rotating on the inpatient service Opportunity to participate in or develop academic and research projects Program Highlights Two inpatient psychiatry units totaling 70 beds, staffed by 7 full-time attending psychiatrists Dedicated interdisciplinary teams including social workers and LCATs Full-time medical internist manages all medical comorbidities Strong academic affiliations with SUNY Downstate and NYIT College of Osteopathi...
