About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of Seniors, Western Zone, the Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses and treats patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations or disabilities. The Physiotherapist is a member of the Seniors LINCS interdisciplinary team and provides service primarily in the community setting. The Physiotherapist works with the other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide assessment, care planning and intervention to seniors in the home or hospital setting. The Physiotherapist collaborates with other members of the care team as well as patients, family and caregivers to maximize the function and independence of patients. In addition, the PT may provide clinical support to Geriatricians and other physicians to support assessment and intervention in the ambulatory care setting.
