Job Description
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the Inspector is responsible for conducting compliance and inspection processes for all products received and manufactured at Argus.
What You’ll Do
- I nterpret production order information, including material grade, size, thread description, and part description.
- Understand the sequence of operations for a production order.
- Support Machinists with the setup of premium gauges to the required specifications and standards for manufacturing, proficiently and accurately.
- Review documents, drawing numbers, and revisions, material requirements, stamping requirements, ensuring the current version is being referenced.
- Read and interpret drawings, including understanding stamping/ stenciling information from drawings.
- Use measuring instruments and gauges to ensure product quality standards are being met.
