Reporting to the Supervisor, Radiological Technology and the Site Coordinator, Medical Imaging, the Radiological Technologist, practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice as well as within a client and family centered care model and the vision and values of the department within Fraser Health (FH). The Radiological Technologist is responsible for permanent evening, night or weekend shifts or working without general supervision. Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices. Duties include receiving and completing requisitions, entering relevant data into the radiology information system, preparing patients for examination, monitoring patients during procedures, operating radiographic equipment including processing radiographs and maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms.
