The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board for the following position: Casual REGISTERED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR (Toddler and Preschool Early Learning Centres) Woodroffe HS, Queen Elizabeth PS, and Shingwàkons PS DUTIES: Under the direction of the Program Coordinator, the Registered Early Childhood Educator provides high quality and effective play-based education to support enhanced learning and cognitive, emotional and social development in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act; CCEYA and the policies established by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Using a strong working knowledge and application of How Does Learning Happen, Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years as well as the College of ECEs Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice that is integrated to their daily practice. The Early Childhood Educator also provides a safe and caring environment for the needs of infant, toddler and preschool children.
