Duties Description St. LawrencePsychiatric Center is currently recruiting for a Rehabilitation Counselor 2 to provide rehabilitative services to individuals with mental illness.
As a Rehabilitation Counselor 2, you will provide a full range of rehabilitative/habilitative services to individuals with more complex issues, including:
• Assessing individuals’ rehabilitative needs and coordinating necessary psychosocial, educational, and/or vocational services.
• Monitoring and documenting progress toward established goals and objectives.
• Determining what changes have occurred as a result of treatment plan.
• Assuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
Minimum Qualifications Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program as Rehabilitation Counselor 2 if they have:
