About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PIs) and under the direction of the Research Manager, the Research Coordinator (Registered Nurse) is responsible for the coordination of Maritime Heart Center (MHC) Research projects conducted within Research & Innovation, NS Health Central Zone. The MHC Research Group consists of approximately 25 staff who support clinical trials and research projects for Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Cardiac Surgeons, as well as fellows, residents, students and Affiliate Scientists. The Research Coordinator works within this collaborative Research Team environment with other Coordinators, Research Assistants, the Research Manager, and clinical care teams to ensure comprehensive participant care is being provided.
