SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

Summary About the Position: RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION/RETENTION INCENTIVE may be requested through management and may be authorized up to 25% of base salary per year to be paid bi-weekly for a period of service up to 2 years. Responsibilities Reviews Munitions Risk Management Assessments (MRMA) and risk acceptance documents for explosives port operations. Interprets regulations, standards, procedures, methods, and techniques applicable to a broad range of safety and occupational health duties. Manages the safety and occupational health program of a major industrial/maritime operation. Manages the safe movement of diverse general and hazardous cargo by surface, and maritime modes. Conducts or participates in safety and occupational health inspections and surveys. Reviews findings of safety surveys conducted by safety committees.
