Seasonal Recreation Labourer

Our Recreation and Culture department is looking for an experienced Seasonal Recreation Infrastructure Worker performing a variety of tasks including small scale construction duties, small machinery and tool operation, painting, concrete finishing, carpentry, and other general labour duties as required to maintain and improve municipal reserve land, playgrounds, sports fields, walking trails, cemeteries, and other green spaces in the County. This position runs from May 4 to October 16, 2026, with weekends and Stat holidays off.

Job Duties:

• Safely operate equipment such as pickup truck with trailer, tractor, riding mower, push mower, trimmer, brush saw, rototiller, hedge trimmers, and various hand tools to perform maintenance and improvements at County parks, greenspaces, cemeteries, County buildings and other locations.
