Senior Accountant Senior Accountant

Our client in mid-town Toronto is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to add to their team:

Plan various engagements and prepare/lead complex audits, NTRs, financial statements and T1, T2, T3 tax returns

Prepare personal and corporate tax planning

Prepare and/or review financial statements in terms of accuracy, completeness and presentation

Perform ad hoc requests (i.e. CRA correspondence, due diligence, financial planning)

Review own and junior's work for quality, accuracy and relevance

Coach and motivate others to superior performance; develop the capabilities of less experienced staff through knowledge transfer, training and coaching

Conduct research on technical matters and recommend the appropriate solutions

Seek opportunities to add value to client account (i.e. tax planning) and manage client expectations

Expected compensation range: $70,000 to $95,000 per year, based on experience
