About the role
As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of MRP purchasing activities to support uninterrupted production. This role directly impacts material availability, operational continuity, and cost efficiency, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Buyer, you’ll be responsible for:
Placing purchase orders on time to ensure continuous material supply
Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD)
Managing shortages and leading expediting activities to mitigate supply risks
Resolving discrepancies in purchase orders, including hold invoices
Ensuring material coverage across short, mid, and long-term horizons
Controlling inventory levels to balance availability and cost efficiency
