In this role you will:
  • Own and manage executive (VP+) talent acquisition across the Bank’s business lines and corporate/control functions, providing strategic insights and advice by partnering with hiring executives on complex, specialized leadership needs

  • Perform in-depth research to identify passive talent prospects and reviewing and screening candidate applications to present diverse and highly qualified candidate slates

  • Take a proactive, data-driven approach to source and attract executive-level candidates through various channels, building a pipeline of candidates for the Bank’s executive talent pool and bringing insights and ideas to leaders at the Bank

  • Advocate and champion Scotiabank’s commitment to diversity and inclusion by practicing inclusive hiring practices and ensuring stakeholders are committing to the same
