Main Responsibilities: •Research assigned market to identify potential sources of business /clients within the market segment(s) assigned.•Actively solicits business for assigned market through pre-planned personal sales calls, mailers, marketplaces, attendance at receptions, promotions, in person meetings, etc.•Follows up all sales activities, and logs accurately all activities.•Accurately confirms all bookings, quotes, and negotiates rates while adhering to hotel rate structure, credit policies and general hotel and corporate policies and procedures.•Adheres to and meets quota pre-determined by the Director of Sales•Maintains client production tracking, re-acting to production drops off by re-qualifying and re-soliciting.•Is in close, in-person contact with the client or group while in house to ensure satisfaction and to enabl...
