Overview

Senior Staff Nurse – Band 6, £43,231 - £52,679 pro rata plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 pro rata. 24 hours per week, Fixed Term Post for 6 months. An exciting opportunity on the Isle of Barra to work rotational shifts within the nursing team at Castlebay Hospital and the Community (CTAC/Palliative Care) covering Barra and Vatersay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to the 1,300 residents of Barra in the various settings, utilising advanced nursing skills and clinical experience in medical and acute care.
• Lead and provide clinical support to the Barra Nursing Team, manage the team and non‑staff resources in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse and Charge Nurse.
