Job Description
The LTL Operations Supervisor (OS) is accountable for the daily functions and ongoing growth and development of Bison’s assigned regional LTL division. This includes the monitoring of freight volumes, P&D performance, outbound efficiencies and overall performance of the LTL team & stakeholders. The OS is responsible for understanding our regional truckload operation and identifying constraints and synergies that would affect LTL’s day to day operation. The OS will be responsible for the growth and development of our people in the assigned region.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Continuous development of LTL operational solutions and growth strategy.
Lead the LTL team on their day-to-day performance, setting clear expectations.
Partner with Pricing and Sales to generate more freight, generating a monthly sales report to demonstrate success.
