Supplier Quality Engineer

Overview

Ensure the conformity of materials received from suppliers through inspection activities, process approvals, deviation analyses, and technical validation, thereby safeguarding production flow and customer satisfaction. The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring that materials supplied to the plant comply with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The SQE executes technical activities such as PPAP reviews, root‑cause analysis, statistical analysis, metrology, supplier audits, and document verification. The SQE acts as a technical liaison between the plant and suppliers to prevent, contain, and eliminate quality defects in the supply chain. This position has a direct technical impact on the quality of products received from suppliers and their performance within the plant.
