Temporary Community Events Coordinator (Maternity Coverage- 12 months) Reporting to the Manager of Recreation Programs and Special Events, the Community Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting Town-led events, including the design/development, delivery, coordination, supervision, administration, implementation, and evaluation of Town events.

This position will liaise with the Committee of Councils and community stakeholders and assist in sponsorship development.

Responsibilities: Support the planning, development, and execution of Town-led events, including the Easter Egg Hunt, Kingsville Block Party, and committee-supported activities, such as Migration Festival, Fantasy of Lights, and Pollinate Kingsville events.  Source, select, and coordinate event vendors, entertainers, and operational services while managing contracts, logistics, budgets, and relationships to ensure successful event delivery.  Develop and implement strategies to recruit, ...
