Position Summary
The Faculty of Education at the University of Regina, in collaboration with the Gabriel Dumont Institute—its partner for more than 40 years—invites applications for the position of Chair in Métis/Michif Education / ECS Instructor II, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Located within the Faculty of Education, this full-time, three-year term appointment will support the teaching and service priorities of the Faculty while advancing capacity in Métis/Michif education in the Province; playing a key role in strengthening connections between the University of Regina and the educational needs and priorities of the Métis/Michif peoples of Saskatchewan.The University of Regina is situated on Treaty 4 lands with a presence in Treaty 6.
